Dr Todd Mize
I am a mass spectrometrist and chemical engineer with 25 years' experience designing, building, and modifying mass spectrometry and electrochemistry instrumentation. I have experience in diverse fields (Entomology, Engineering, Physics, Pharmacology, and Chemistry among others) and have maintained and repaired every type of commercial mass spectrometry instrument currently on the market. Most recently, I have designed and modified equipment for microfluidics-to-mass-spec interfaces and to enhance the study of soluble and membrane protein complexes. I joined the College of Life and Environmental Sciences here at the University of Birmingham as an Experimental Officer in January 2019.
